Review of Rob Roy Show in Edinburgh Fringe Festival (August 2003)

REVIEWS from '3 weeks' Rob Roy Show

With sketches ranging in matter from Elvis's Jail house rock to golf, flying by aeroplane and sport, Robert Roy Farmer kept the audience enraptured with his unique take on the life of a golf ball and the need we all have for it to be Friday. His entire performance is signed and a translator is provided for those, like myself, not familiar with signing, making it entirely accessible. Not only is it a funny show, it¹s creative and unusual; sketches are interspersed with anecdotes from his travels and his life. I really enjoyed myself and I think the hearing dog did too.
